Worship is loving and responding to God, which is what we try to do in our 11 am worship service. A warm congregation, a great choir, plus some good specials by our singers sets the stage for the preaching service. The Word of God is preached in every message, and those that attend are encouraged to bring their Bibles and be involved in the message. Our church body is made up of all ages and walks of life.
We have nurseries from newborns through three years old. We also have two levels of church for the children – Wee Warriors (4-K) and Small Soldiers (1st through 6th grades).
Starting at 6pm, is a great night to sit as a family in a bit more casual service. Good singing and specials still make the music great, and the sermon is usually a bit more interactive. Many stay for some time afterwards “catching up.” Sometimes basketball or volleyball is organized as a great way to end the day.
On Wednesdays at 7pm, members and visitors assemble in which we study through a small passage of Scripture together. We open our service with announcements, songs and prayer. We then launch into our study of the Word.
Men's Prayer Breakfasts
The second Saturday of every other month the men of the church gather for breakfast from 8:30-10am.
We do our best to have biscuits and gravy, as well as bacon or sausages. After eating we have a short lesson from one of our men, followed by a time of prayer. Fathers are encouraged to bring their sons. It is a good time for the guys.
